Barbara Wilcox Bitteto Class of 1969
Last week in Tokyo, my husband Mark and I met up with classmates (and twins) Sheryl and Beryl Hawkins for dinner on Wednesday evening. It was great to catch up with them after many years. Sheryl is teaching at the Yokohama British International School, and Beryl teaches college classes throughout Tokyo. Both are active with dance and music.
We met at the Pink Cow in Shibuya, a club for ex-pats. It was kind of a change for us since we had been staying with Japanese friends during our 12-day visit to Tokyo. Mark and I met there 31 years ago while I was studying at Nihon University of Art. He was studying judo. We were celebrating a belated 30th anniversary.
