Elizabeth (Lalla) Jones AIS class of 1976 lallajones@hotmail.com

I am sorry to inform you that our father Digger Jones died in a Tucson hospital on 15 Nov. 2006. Mom and our eldest sister Cindy (ACS Addis class of 1969) were with him when he died. Sara (AIS class of 1972) had been out earlier to see him while he was in the hospital.

Dad lived 88 1/2 years and in his own words he "had a pretty good life." He thoroughly enjoyed his years overseas with USAID and other organizations. I was lucky enough to have spent much of the summer with my parents. I am still teaching at Kuwait University in Kuwait where I have been since 1986.
