François Galas AES class of 1984 sophie.galas@neuf.fr
Hi there, My name is François GALAS and I'm a graduate of AES class of 1984. I heard of your web site by Fabien TABARLY ('85) who is on your site. A little bit of history (and geography): I arrived in 1980 in Delhi and was, as far as I know, the first French citizen in AIS/AES. After '84 I went back in France, my country, After '84 I went back to France, my country, took my last year of French high school and graduated (again). Then, I went in Switzerland to do what I longed for : a Swiss Hotel School of Managment. After a few years of wandering => (Cruise liners in the carabeans, waiter in Spain, Restaurant Manager around france ..) I joined a firm specialized in Food Management in private clinics based in Angoulême, France, as West France Director. During that period I managed to get married and have 3 guys (7, 9 & 12). (Visibly, we did not get the recipe to do girls...) In a few months, I'll join a another company (industrial dry cleaning) based in Montpellier (situated the south of france => sea, scubba diving and sun). Well, all that to say that I will never forget our discussions with Mrs. WALKER in social studies, my "A" in English given to me by Mrs. MENNARD (in desperation?), the hard (if not impossible?) work of Dr. BECK (whom I did not really help), the smoker's bench, girl friends, friends, senior trip, Robert CONNOR and his slight ignorance of rugby rules, the fire in Mr. KUMAR's trash can ... and so on during 4 hard and long years (sic) .... Anyhow, being my first contact, can you: Thank you, François PS. I am especialy looking for 2 brothers : Alec ('83) and Porter ('85) DEWAR.
