Back to Lynette Bushnell Hone
Ronald Kent Bushnell, AIS class of 1977, died November 16, 1990 at age 30 due to complications from AIDS and AIDS-related Pneumocystis Carinii Pneumonia.
Ron's sister, Lynette Bushnell Hone, AIS class of 1974, writes,
"I found this collage that I made of my brother Ron (class of '77) back when I was working w/Teen Pregnancy Prevention and sex education in the schools in Ohio. It was my endeavor to show students the face of AIDS... in families... and make it more real .... wasn't my brother handsome?!? Center pic-picture from Ron's modeling portfolio; top right- me in black dress, Ron in the middle, and sister Marsha in white- taken at Ron's b-day and AIDS benefit, the year before Ron died. Right middle pic- Ron in wheelchair w/Marsha's eldest daugher LIsa taken months before Ron died. Lowest left pic- Ron w/Marsha's daughters, Lisa and Julia, and Jerry (behind Ron), Episcopal minister and best friend. Ronald Kent Bushnell (class of '77)...gone but not forgotten!"
