[Carol Rizzie York and her husband, Peter, live in Dallas, Texas. Carol's brother, Dan Rizzie, AIS class of 1969, is a noted artist with works in important private and public collections across the country. Carol sends us these photos and note.]

These pictures were taken in our kitchen, and we were going to the Dallas Museum for a black tie party that was being thrown to see the private collection that was donated to the DMA by Robert and Margaret Hoffman.

Robert and Dan were very good friends. Robert passed away last year he and his wife probably have the best private modern art collection in the county.

Prior to his death The Hoffmans, The Roses & The Rachofski's donated all their collections to the DMA. The Hoffmans have quite a few of Dan's pieces. The installation will be received by the donors over a period of time. With these pieces coming to the DMA the DMA will have one of the best modern art collections in the world. This is great for Dallas.
