Mary Pomeroy Sheridan, AIS class of 1970, shrdnfam@astound.net

Sheridan family Goodness knows if I attached this picture correctly, but if I did, this is my marvelous family from left Brendan aged 26, Meg, age 17, Molly age 24, Kip age 19, and me, and my husband Pat.

My husband and I live in Walnut Creek, California, (suburb of San Francisco) with our daughters Meg (just graduating on June 17, then I fly to the reunion) and Molly who is working in a title company locally and writing screenplays on her off hours. Our son Brendan lives and works in Philadelphia, and Kip lives in Walnut Creek in his own place. Pat's job with U.S. Customs has taken us to D.C.(two 2 year jobs), Tokyo (two years), and Hong Kong (6 years). I got to see Taka Yamanouchi in Tokyo, and he also visited us in Hong Kong when on business. KC and Neal saw us in Hong Kong. (I got to take them to deepest darkest Kowloon where the bird market visit was the highlight.)

Now, Pat is retired and works locally at a plant nursery, and I work as a teacher's aide in first grade at an elementary school(a three minute walk from our house) and I hike with friends in the foothills. (I saw Sue Hiebert Harvey's message, and promptly found her and we had lunch at her place in Walnut Creek.... we live very near each other and both visit Mt. Diablo: she on her horse and I on foot!) My favorite pasttime is making jewelry... hope to see you at the "vendor fair" and hope to visit other vendors at the reunion.

So glad Paul Reiger called to tell me about this bash..first time it has worked out that I could come!!!! Can't wait to see everyone from the wonderful class of 70! (and classes thereabouts!)

Mary
