Jim and I went to Hawaii and had a wonderful dinner with Jim and Anne Newberry while in Oahu. Teaching has been taking all my creative energies especially in a school with 27 languages (mostly refugees). I attempt to speak my pigen Spanish and the kids immediately translate for me. I tell them its something I don't do well. They agree.

We are official empty nesters now… Meredith just graduated from University of Arizona and is a case manager for the elderly in Tucson. Jeremy is looking for a job that he likes. Tim just bought his first house. Jim is spending lots of time fixing up his hard drives when not working for the power company. We just went to the Rose Bowl with thousands of other Michigan Alumnae and Jim swears he never will go for they loose every time he goes. Mom and Dad are still in Boston, in the same apartment. Marshall is married, living in Columbus and working at OSU.
