Leslie Langbein Parsons AIS class of 1971 scgallery@comcast.net March 11, 2008 Gosh, 40 years since leaving Delhi and still the faces, names, and experiences remain with me lovingly and have helped to mold the person I am today. After graduating from High School in CA in'71 I followed my parents to Southern Africa. I became a croupier and dealt American Roulette for the Royal Swazi Spa and Casino in Mbabane, Swaziland also in Botswana and Lesotho. I stayed 3 and 1/2 years (my sordid past!) I returned to CA in '76 met my husband, Brent, in '77, became a flight attendant in '78, married in '79. We moved to Santa Cruz, CA, retired from the airlines in '85 and lived the beachtown life and started our family. Taylor is 22 and Kayley 19. In 1989 we sold our house and closed escrow 4 days before the earthquake - lucky! We moved to the California gold country in the Sierra foothills in a town called Sutter Creek. We own Sutter Creek Art Gallery and a hardware store in Pioneer, CA. We're very involved in our community. My husband is on the city council and has been mayor of our little town several times. He is not politcal just loves where we live and wants to do his part. I am a family support volunteer for Hospice and help in our businesses. We enjoy the outdoors - I ski, hike, kayak and do yoga. Am sooo looking forward to seeing all of you and learning how everyone is doing. See you in June. All my best - Leslie Langbein Parsons
