Ray Flegel AIS class of 1966, 1947 - 2005

January 1, 2006

I am writing you this with a saddened heart, Ray passed away on Friday December 27, 2005. The Big C got him. He was diagnosed with it on his birthday April 7th of this year, it was very fast growing. He did all the chemo and radiation, but that just bought us some time. He was a champ during that period, went to work all during that time never missed. His last day of work was on Dec. 12th, our 35th wedding anniversary, and then just home. He totally was very gracious for the extra time we had. Only drawback was that he had finally found a place to work that they really appreciated him and his knowledge. He loved it and the guys he worked with. They donated sick time and vacation time to him while he was at home here. Anyway the following is his obit and I am not sure who else to notify, because I really don't know who is who in his address book. So if you would be so kind as to let some of your classmates know from India, I would appreciate it. The only other one I know is Sue Carew, so I will send her a note.

Any questions this is my e mail blutrooper@att.net

Thank you, have a great new year.
